Kingdom Hearts Video Goes Over What Order to Play the Series in

Amidst the trio of main entries, the Kingdom Hearts series has offered numerous noteworthy side games across diverse platforms, often with plotlines that are essential to the primary narrative. Newcomers to Kingdom Hearts may initially find the series a bit overwhelming, but developer Square Enix's recent video aims to simplify this. The video, put out by Square Enix, provides a roadmap to navigate the Kingdom Hearts collection. While indicating that the beginning of the latest release, Kingdom Hearts 3, is acceptable, the video realistically maps out a different sequence from the start of the Dark Seeker saga. It begins with Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, Re:Chain of Memories, and then Kingdom Hearts 2. The video then leads us to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days’ cinematic interpretations. The chain of play continues with Birth by Sleep Final Mix, moving on to the sequel, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Chapter Prologue. A trilogy ensues - Dream Drop Distance, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover (an HD cinematic compilation of an original online game), and Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage. Finally, the video takes us to Kingdom Hearts 3. In addition, Square Enix is preparing for the launch of Kingdom Hearts 4, which is rumored to be glimpsed at Disney’s D23 in August and anticipated to be released in 2025.
