Persona 5 Royal Comes to Xbox Game Pass
It’s been crowned as the most acclaimed game ever. It has been reissued for three generations of consoles. It’s still popular, and now, as it has entered a subscription-based catalog, there will be even more fans. Welcome: Persona 5 Royal. One of the best RPG of all time is now available on Xbox/PC Game Pass!
Persona 5 is one of those games where the open world is not based on some fantasy realm but instead on the real-life Tokyo. The protagonist, a Japanese student, discovers the ability to steal distorted desires from human hearts. And he’s not the only one. But on their quests to make the world a better place, they have to face these desires, vices, and sins in personified shape in a parallel universe.
If you like manga/anime visuals, narrative-based games, and challenging combat, you hardly could miss Persona 5. But if you did, its appearance on Xbox Game Pass will make you think about it. Even if you’re not a subscriber, it may be worth it. The subscription price is $9.99/month, and Persona 5 as a standalone game is $59.99 – that is, even if you want to play Persona 5 only, you’ll have it for six months, along with hundreds of other games, for the same money.
And even if you have played it right after its release, it still make sense to revisit it. The version on Xbox Game Pass is Persona 5 Royal. This version has improved visuals and extra content. And it’s not only costumes and DGM, but a new difficulty level as well. The Royal version also features two more characters and alternative storylines, so even story-wise, there is a lot to discover if you only played the original. The game is fantastically translated and voiced in English and in some other languages.
