Snapchat Adds 12 Million Users in Q4, But Revenue Misses Market Estimates

In terms of company revenue, Snapchat posted $911 million, missing market estimates of $945 million. The company's revenue was up 64% year-over-year, but it was still below market expectations. Despite the revenue miss, the company is optimistic about its future.
The company has made several acquisitions and partnerships lately, including a $1.1 billion acquisition of Zenly, a French social mapping company. It has also partnered with Amazon for visual search and with NBCUniversal for original content.
