Ben had the fortunate opportunity to play the closed beta version of Payday 3 last August and has expressed his enjoyment of the game. The wait for the official release, which is two weeks away, may have been difficult for many. Good news for those with an Xbox Series or a competent PC - the wait will not be as extensive. Both Overkill and Starbreeze have announced the scheduling for Payday 3's open beta. Set to start at 3 PM BST / 4 PM CEST on September 8th and finish at 9 AM BST / 10 AM CEST on September 11th, this availability will exclusively be for those with a PC or Xbox Series. Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 owners might be left out in the cold, missing out on a test-run before the game's official release. Take note that the version of the game offered in this open beta is identical to that of the earlier closed beta. If you were part of that closed beta, don’t expect any advancements or modifications. The end goal of this open beta primarily serves to test the Payday 3’s servers. Hence, there might be a chance of encountering some glitches this weekend, especially if the server traffic is heavy due to players also trying out games like Starfield, Baldur’s Gate III and others.
